The Shield of Elements
To summon the protective power of the four elements—Earth, Air, Fire, and Water—to create a shield that repels negativity and harmful intentions.
Ingredients:
Small Bowl of Salt – Represents Earth.
Feather – Represents Air.
White Candle – Represents Fire.
Small Bowl of Water – Represents Water.
Charcoal Disc or Fireproof Dish – For burning herbs.
Herbs for Protection – Sage, bay leaf, or rosemary.

Prepare Your Space:
Set up the items in a circular arrangement, representing the elements: place the salt in the north, the feather in the east, the candle in the south, and the bowl of water in the west.
Cleanse the space by burning sage or a protective herb.
Light the Candle:
Light the white candle, focusing on its flame as a symbol of protective energy. Say:
“Fire of purity, burn so bright, Protect this space with your sacred light.”
Invoke the Elements:
Starting with the salt, hold it in your hands and say:
“Earth below, strong and steady, Shield my being, make me ready.”Move to the feather, hold it up, and say:
“Air that flows, unseen yet near, Surround me now, dispel my fear.”Take the candle and speak:
“Fire that burns, fierce and true, Protect me now in all I do.”Finally, lift the bowl of water and say:
“Water pure, cleansing and clear, Wash away all harm and fear.”
Create the Shield:
Visualize a glowing dome of light surrounding you, formed by the combined power of the elements.
Seal the Spell:
Burn the protective herbs on the charcoal disc or in the fireproof dish, letting the smoke rise. Say:
“Elements four, hear my plea, A shield of light, so mote it be.”
Closing the Ritual:
Extinguish the candle and pour the water onto the ground or into a plant to return its energy to nature. Scatter the salt and keep the feather as a protective charm.
